Growing, Growing, Growing
Students will explore situations that involve repeated doubling, tripling, and quadrupling. Students ate introduced to rapid growth seen in exponential patterns.
Students will make and study tables and graphs for exponential situations, describe the patterns they see, and write equations for them, looking for a general form of an exponential equation. Students also compare and contrast linear and exponential patterns of growth.

Important term: Growth Factor- The constant factor that each value is multiplied by to get the next value (this will increase the previous value)
Important term: Decay Factor- The constant factor that each value is multiplied by to get the next value (this will reduce the previous value)
